Pennyroyal Academy is a very thick book. But it should be thicker if you ask me. The story is incredibly intricate and exciting. I was enthralled as I followed the journey of Evie, a princess cadet at Pennyroyal Academy, on her journey to find courage, discipline, and the other things you must have in order to be a to princess. M.A Larson was a screenwriter before he wrote his first novel which happened to be Pennyroyal Academy. I think it was an amazing transition from scripts to fictional stories and it has inspired me to write books as well as screenplays because the books might turn out better because of my screenplays and vice versa.
